What ist Microneedling
Using tiny needles to achieve younger, fresher and healthier skin - even after the first application. Angelina Jolie swears by it and so does Kim Kardashian: the latest beauty trend from Hollywood is called micro needling. And it is indeed tiny needles that - when used professionally and in combination with rejuvenating active ingredients - give the skin a refreshing treatment that lasts for a long time, has hardly any side effects and shows its effect immediately after the first application. In micro-needling, the skin is treated with a special Dermapen, which is equipped with very fine and short needles. When pricked into the epidermis (top layer of skin), the tiny pricks irritate certain receptors, which then release more elastin, hyaluronic acid and collagen, guaranteeing firmer and more beautiful skin! The treated skin is tricked, so to speak, by the tiny punctures because it immediately counteracts the micro-injuries - and produces more natural rejuvenators. How does the microneedling work?
How does the microneedling treatment work? The skin is gently cleansed. After carefully disinfecting the areas of the body to be treated, the Dermapen is used. Highly effective care substances are infiltrated into the skin, depending on the skin condition. The application is virtually painless. Immediately afterwards, the skin is gently cleansed again. A cooling and anti-inflammatory mask is then applied to soothe the skin. Immediately after the first treatment, the skin feels firmer, revitalised and more vital. The long-term effect through the formation of new collagen and tightening of the skin will become apparent over the next 2 weeks and last for a very long time.ability to absorb moisture
Is there any downtime or side effects of microneedling?
No, after the application the skin is usually slightly reddened and possibly slightly swollen, but this usually disappears completely after 1-2 days. We only use products without fragrances, colourants, parabens and paraffins. Unwanted allergic reactions are therefore virtually impossible.
Is the needling roller recommended for use at home?
No! Compared to the Micro-Needling Pen, the widespread and traditional skin needling roller causes skin damage. With the Micro-Needling Pen, the needles are always guided vertically in and out of the skin at comparably high speeds in contrast to all manual roller concepts. Another advantage is the high level of control due to the individually adjustable depth, which can be selected differently depending on the zone. The pen can also be used to safely treat sensitive and hard-to-reach areas such as the eyes, lips and nose thanks to the filigree pen concept.
Who is microneedling suitable for?
Microneedling is actually suitable for all skin types and body regions¹. As the needles only penetrate a few millimeters into the skin and no skin layers are destroyed, there are hardly any risks. The treatment promotes skin regeneration and can refine the skin's appearance, reduce acne scars and smooth out wrinkles. It is a popular alternative to more invasive procedures such as facelifts.
What needs to be considered after microneedling?
Make-up should be avoided immediately after the application; if you wish, we will apply a special powder to largely cover the redness. The day after, you can apply your usual make-up. Sun protection should definitely be used in the first week. You should avoid the solarium and sauna for the first seven days. As the skin is very receptive after the treatment, it is recommended that you take appropriate care at home. You can obtain information on this in our studio.
